The Regional review meeting of the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held virtually from April 26 to 28. It is co-organized by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in its capacity as Coordinator of the United Nations Network on Migration, with the support of the various agencies, funds and programs that make up the Regional Network in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Two consultations will be held prior to the official activities of the review meeting. First, on April 12, the subregional, regional, and interregional processes, platforms, and organizations will meet to discuss ways in which to link their work with the objectives of the Global Compact.

Then, a consultation with civil society and other stakeholders will take place, from April 13 to 15.
Registration for the meeting will be available from April 5.
